Each year the Clackamas River Water Providers hold a coloring contest with local elementary schools in our service area to create our annual Water Conservation Calendar. In 2009 we had 22 classes at twelve different schools participate in the contest with almost 600 entries for the 2010 Calendar.  Each school that participated in the contest received 200 calendars to give away to students and families or to use as school fundraisers.

As our communities grow, saving water is one of the most effective ways to make the best use of our existing water resources and help protect the environment. The winners featured in the 2010 calendar as well as the tips will help you identify simple and easy things you can do to reduce your water use at home.
